MAMA FIRST BIRTH CO.
When the mama is put first, everything else falls into place. Fill up her cup, so that she can then overflow into the lives of her children, spouse, and community.
Women are the only ones who can bring life to this earth, a sacred privilege. Her role as a mama therefore deserves the utmost respect and support, to be set up for success. And as we see time and time again, just as a new baby is born at birth, a new woman is born as well.
Birth is only the beginning.
Michelle Murdock
I’m a birth doula, midwife-assistant and apprentice.
So far, 50 births down, upteen more to go.
I’m blissfully married to my best friend, the proud mother of two happy, healthy boys, and a daughter of God.
I fell in love with the birth experience as a young girl, but solidified my passion when I had my own two experiences.
I’ve spent the last few years in education through workshops and certifications including: The DONA Workshop, Spinning Babies international workshop, and the Trisha Baird Birth Doula Workshop.
I’m also a Holistic Nutritionist, certified phlebotomist, and CPR certified.
I dreamed of growing up to become a mermaid or a fairy but found doula work to be the next best thing.
